Competition rules, contest standards, and payout expectations
Account, identity, and access
- You must create an account, provide accurate registration information, and remain signed in to enter eligible leagues or submit predictions.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in the place from which they access the platform.
- Winsharpsharp may suspend, restrict, or close accounts that are duplicate, misleading, abusive, or used in breach of platform rules or applicable law.
- Prize payouts may be withheld while account identity, eligibility, anti-fraud, or payment details are being reviewed.
Prediction windows and entries
- Prediction submission closes according to the active lock window configured for the competition. The current standard lock window is 30 minutes before kickoff for match predictions.
- Predictions submitted after the lock time are not accepted, and locked picks cannot be edited once the relevant contest window has closed.
- League-specific formats may include match predictions, event questions, or a combination of both, depending on the contest setup shown in the product flow.
- If a contest card, league detail page, or official announcement shows a contest-specific format, payout plan, or lock rule, that published contest-specific rule governs that contest.
Scoring, standings, and result settlement
- Leaderboard positions are determined by the scoring configuration attached to the active contest and update as official results are settled.
- Match-based contests score against regulation-time results only unless a specific contest page states otherwise. Extra time and penalty shootouts are excluded from standard football result grading.
- If a match or event question is cancelled, abandoned, voided, or otherwise not officially completed, Winsharpsharp may exclude it from scoring, void it, or apply a contest-specific settlement approach announced to participants.
- Where ties occur on the leaderboard, prize allocation and ranking treatment follow the active payout and scoring rules for that contest.
Fair play and enforcement
- Collusion, automated abuse, manipulation of outcomes, multiple-account participation, payment abuse, harassment, or attempts to exploit platform logic may lead to disqualification, suspension, or forfeiture of prizes.
- Winsharpsharp may correct obvious pricing, scoring, settlement, or publishing errors where needed to protect contest integrity.
- Operational decisions made to preserve fairness, security, legal compliance, or payment integrity are binding unless replaced by a formal platform notice.
Free leagues
Promotional free league rules
The following promotional rules apply to standard free leagues and free weekly or seasonal contests unless a specific contest page, official campaign notice, or league detail page publishes a different structure.
Eligibility
- Payouts for free contests are only available to Nigerian bank accounts whose first and last name match the name used during registration.
- Participants must be over 18 years old or the legal adult age in the region from which they are playing.
- To participate in any contest, you must register an account and be signed in.
- Only one entry is allowed into a contest per person for all free contests.

- Each free contest may display a stated jackpot or prize pool next to the contest listing or league detail.
- Unless a contest-specific notice states otherwise, the standard promotional free-league payout split is 40% for 1st place, 25% for 2nd, 15% for 3rd, 10% for 4th, and 10% for 5th.
- If no participant records a score in a round, no payout may be made for that contest and the platform may decide to roll the prize value into a future round or promotional contest.
- If winning positions are tied, the payout allocated to the affected places will be shared among the tied participants.
- Prizes will not be offered to players in unsupported jurisdictions or to players whose accounts have been suspended, restricted, or closed for rule or terms violations.
- Winsharpsharp may withhold or delay payout where a participant has breached rules, failed verification, supplied mismatched payment details, or triggered a fraud or compliance review.
- Winning participants may be contacted after the contest ends to complete payout verification and settlement steps.
- For payout support or contest-specific clarification, participants should review the terms page or contact support through the official support page.
Contest format and scoring
- Predictions must be submitted 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the game.
- Free contests operate on a round-by-round format based on the matches selected for that round, most commonly on a weekly basis, and rankings can be viewed on the leaderboard.
- Each round displays the full list of eligible matches on the predict page, and participants are encouraged to submit picks for every fixture to maximize their possible score for that round.
- For football predictions, results are graded by three standard outcomes: home win, draw, or away win. Exact-score picks receive the exact-score value when fully correct, while correct winner or correct draw outcomes receive the configured outcome score.
- Final football grading is based on the score at the end of regulation time, including added time, and excludes extra time and penalty shootouts.
- The dog icon appears only in an underdog match, where an UNDERDOG-status team is facing a SUPER-status team.
- If any scheduled match is suspended, abandoned, postponed, or otherwise not completed, that match may be treated as void and excluded from points calculations for the round leaderboard.
- Scoring formats, points values, and contest mechanics may be updated by Winsharpsharp and will be published on this page or on the relevant contest surface before they take effect.
- The live scoring engine currently awards 3 points for a correct exact score, 1 point for a correct result, and 1 point when an UNDERDOG-status team beats a SUPER-status team by 2 or more goals.

One bonus question may be added to selected rounds and is worth 1 additional point for the correct answer. Based on the current live scoring configuration, the maximum points available from a single match pick is 3.

Free leagues are surfaced through the same account and prediction flow described on the How It Works page. You must have an active account session to enter or manage predictions.
Some eligible public zero-fee leagues may be designated by the platform for automatic enrollment on signup, but entry remains subject to the eligibility, verification, and enforcement rules published here and in the terms and conditions.
